It's Week 2 of Megaformer Challenge and here you are in class but have you truly arrived?
You've heard the saying ‘the best gift you can give someone is your presence’ and now YOU deserve the same. So although you are 1 week down, with 2 or 3 classes under your belt, guided by your WHY... are you really here, now? And what about now?
When we daydream on the Megaformer, we cannot differentiate discomfort from pain. You might find yourself launching out of a move rather than consciously modifying it. Maybe it is for good reason, it could be your body trying to protect you, but when we are distracted can you truly tell the difference?
When we are PRESENT, we can make small adjustments within a move to feel what’s really happening. I ask that you concentrate and experiment to see where this can take you. It could be that you decrease the size of your movement in order to continue or can you even slow down just a little? Remember CONSTANT MOVEMENT is one of your goals.
So my challenge for you, in week 2 of Mega May is to remain present. Because that's where conscious choices lie. Remain present... on the Megaformer AND between classes. Including your nutrition to remain present to truly taste and appreciate what you are eating, to digest well and to identify when you are actually full.
