We kicked off the new decade with our 2020 Challenge.
Our member Peta Winkless started on 1 January with a goal ”to be more conscious of what I’m eating and drinking”. Peta completed her 20 classes in 30 days and here’s what she discovered with her new vision:
1. I’ve learned being organised is key to start the week! The e-book had delicious healthy food options and the recipes were easy and colourful. Lunch is more interesting these days.
2. The breaking the chain activity was eye opening in what we tell ourselves and why we do the things we do. When you break the story / habits down I found it’s been easier to change small patterns of behaviour.
3. My goal was to reduce coffee from 3 to 1 coffee per day. I’m still on 1 coffee per day and it’s a small coffee.
4.I’ve been able to reduce alcohol intake to when we go out, from 3 to 2 per week or less. My daughter actually noticed and said something. She’s 10 so it’s good to set a better example for her.
5. Fitness wise, I felt good and felt better by the end! Around week 3 I felt really sluggish but I think I hadn’t eaten enough to combat the extra exercise I was doing, plus I had reduced meat. I’m feeling better now though and continue to make these positive changes.
Peta has loved the extra classes so much she is now on an All Access membership!
