The most important thing to remember when personalising your food is:  It's not just about the nutrients, vitamins or quality of the food, it’s about how it reacts with your body. What’s a super food for one person may be super bad for another (great news for anyone who hates kale!)  We can get a rough guide about which foods will be right for you based on your Health Type:
  • Sensors: are sensitive, which includes their digestive system. Less hydrochloric acid occurs in their stomach, which makes it harder to digest foods. Eating well-cooked, juiced or grated foods means the body won't have to work too hard to digest, and the brain can continue to focus. Frequent snacks also help maintain energy.
  • Connector: has one of the most robust digestive systems and can handle almost anything – in fact, variety is important! This body doesn’t need to snack, and can enjoy medium meals 3-4 times a day. Shared meals with loved ones satisfies their need for connection.
  • Guardian: food is life! Most importantly, to provide for others. Food must be tasty, as bland food will create a sense of deprivation. As a natural conserver, can eat larger portions but only 2-3 times per day, with breakfast as the biggest meal so the energy can be released. (Late heavy meals will be stored.)
  • Crusader: expends a great deal of energy, so needs a good supply of carbs at all times to fuel body and mind. Food should be mineral rich and animal proteins well-cooked to assist digestion.
  • Activator: this body has the shortest gut – 5-6 small meals a day is the best to avoid getting hangry! Their digestive system is strong and will do best with some animal protein in their diet. Doesn’t require as much water as the other Health Types.
  • Diplomat: has the longest gut so should avoid too much animal protein and will do best on a vegetarian diet. Staying hydrated is very important! Dairy can be a problem for this Health Type.
